In this hands-on role, you’ll champion safety and product quality, support production efficiency, and build a team culture people are proud to be part of. Work hours are Monday through Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm with occasional Friday hours, when necessary to meet our customer demands.

As you lead a growing team, you’ll take ownership of these business-critical priorities:
  • Set the standard for safety and quality every shift.
  • Drive cleanliness and organization across your department/area.
  • Lead a crew of 20+ full-time and temporary employees.
  • Own the workflow—set goals, communicate priorities, and track team performance.
  • Train and onboard new hires so they’re confident in their roles and expectations.
  • Coach performance day-to-day and share clear feedback with management.
  • Build a positive, accountable team culture where people want to win together.
  • Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running strong.

  • 1+ years of experience as a shop Team Lead (automotive industry a plus).
  • Ability to adapt to change and stay calm under pressure.
  • Strong grasp of company policies and procedures.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a demanding environment.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Professionalism and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including effective communication with Account Coordinators on customer needs and with all levels of staff.
  • Understanding of the work area (equipment, safety, targets, and staffing needs).
  • Contribute to ROIs for cost-cutting opportunities.
  • Continuous improvement projects for you and your team.
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, including email on phone, Word, and Excel).
  • Versed in Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Computer (EPICOR MRP software) competencies, including issue material, return material, salvage material, job receipt to inventory, inventory Transfer.
  • HR competencies, including Injuries, Worker Respect, Interviewing skills, disciplinary write-ups, attendance management, and emergency and safety training.
  • Experience in compression molding a plus.
  • Drug Screen and Background check required.
